Our Mission

We, the descendants of Homo sapiens sapiens, inherited an unbelievable treasure of knowledge and truth from the great, named and unnamed, thinkers, philosophers, mathematicians, scientists, doctors, and engineers among our ancestors. This knowledge and truth was created over many generations, one generation building on top of the knowledge of their ancestors. We are standing on the shoulders of giants!

It appears that our celebrity enamored society has largely forgotten these fundamental, truly life changing, contributions.

One Dollar for Science wants to raise the awareness and appreciation of this invaluable inheritance among all the contemporary Homo sapiens passengers who are traveling on Earth through the Universe.

We want to raise awareness that the exponential growth of Homo sapiens since the start of the industrial revolution has enabled the exponential acceleration of our knowledge creation, but is now reaching a tipping point where our growth is likely to cause our own demise.
